Wipro selects people from Different Background i.e. BCA, BSc - IT/CS/Mathematics,, etc... and provide training in any one Technology.
The Different Technologies are :

They allocate the batches in different technologies based on the
Business Requirements. You can't predict the Technology in which you
will be trained. Even they don't ask "In Technology you want to work?".
Once the batches are allocated for training in any one of the technology, you can't change the batch and/or Technology.
Even You can't say, you will get JAVA project even though you trained in JAVA.
It's all depends on WIPRO - Business Requirements.
Finally Testers ki importance samjh aayi....

Will I be able to switch to a developer profile as a career option after completion of this course?

ReplyDeleteIt's depends on you. If you are comfortable, then you can work well.
For developer profile, if you have the skills to clear the project interview for development, you can be selected as developer.
But mostly(90%) you will get a project i which you have been trained.
